- did not explain the answers he got on problems in class, often would just give the answer - quiet as hell despite being told to speak up - gave literally just the answer on the midterm practice solutions, AND the actual midterm was way harder. - hard to understand - bad handwriting - by far, in general, one of the worse professors here.
The professor adhered closely to the textbook but presented the material in a way that never felt like he was simply reading from it. He constantly provided examples, highlighted connections between concepts, and posed questions to deepen our understanding of the material.

I thoroughly enjoyed his class, especially the engaging step-by-step teaching style and the helpful class materials that really supported my learning. Bohan's courses have deepened my understanding of mathematical proofs.
It took me a bit to get used to his lecture style. But he keeps a good pace and makes sure his notes are really clear. He's probably the most understanding and supportive prof I've had in the math department. He gives lots of chances to ask questions in class, and if you do, he'll take the time to explain things.
Bad grader. Horrible at explaining concepts. Speaks very quietly in class and gives bad examples during class. The class is very easy, but the homework problems do not compare at all. I would not take his classes again.
unhelpful lectures and badly formatted tests
Homework is worth 25% and exams are worth 75%. No curve. First day of class he said it should be "easy". Beware.
Strong accent, focus a lot on basic integral skill. Very good handwriting and lecture notes, appreciate that. But the lecture is a little bit boring though, 100% focus on math.
Practice tests model the midterms, but usually, the midterms are a bit harder. His lectures are alright and his notes are pretty clear. Some of the examples, however, are quite a bit easier than what is asked on the HW (Webworks). He also grades hard compared to the TA.
OK lecturer. Very nice handwriting and super neat/helpful notes though. Has an accent but is still very understandable. He gives out practice exams which are very similar to real exams. Midterm 2 tested how well we knew how to do complicated integrals instead of our understanding of vector calculus >:(
He's not a brilliant professor but I think he's fine. Lectures are clear but not very inspirational; he provides lecture notes that are very helpful for review. Basically he is a professor that you can choose but don't expect too much from him.
He was very difficult to follow and understand. Test grades were fair and similar to the midterms. I don't think most people bought the Math 6A book but I did because I had to teach a lot of the concepts to myself. He does homework that thoroughly goes through the concepts so you can sort of teach yourself through the homework.
READING HIS NOTES EXACTLY AND NO CHEATSHEET EVEN THOUGH HES TESTING U ON ALL U LEARNT IN CALC 1 AND CALC 2
The midterms were okay not difficult but he made the final much more difficult. He did not CURVE the class at all, which I do not understand why. He lacks communication if you email him and it is hard to understand what he is saying. I would not take him again.
Very good professor. Great feedback, teaching with logic, nice handwriting. Highly recommended. I would definitely take his another course again.
Excellent professor. Be sure to prepare his sample test carefully.
Not a fan. Wont take again. Has heavy accent. Writes terribly. Notes are a fraction of what you need for the hw/test. Never responds to emails. Stopped going to class all together. YouTubing my way through.
I contemplated not going to lecture for the whole quarter as I didnt get absolutely anything out of it. He goes doesnt write clearly, and on top of his very thick accent he mumbles most things. In math, its hard to pick up concepts when you cant hear/read lectures. I found a wonderful YouTube channel that got me through this class
He has a really heavy accent, lectures very quickly and expects everyone to pick up concepts instantly. I would not recommend him for Math 8, because he makes the subject much more difficult than it needs to be. If you make even the smallest mistake, you receive half credit at best. He is the most ruthless grader I have ever come across.
