Matt is great guy, very interesting lecture and easy exams, do your homework and show up in every class will result an easy A in the class!

Very fair & helpful teacher, didn't try to trick or be super nitpicky when it came to exams. Still assigned challenging problems to probe your knowledge & grasp of the material.

Very helpful and clear TA, probably the only reason I passed the class! He also was in close contact with the teacher so he was able to give frequent updates about tests, and clarify all the problems that were unclear in class. Definitely recommend him for future students

Very easy going, taught material well and in a non-convoluted matter. Quirky dude but overall I thought he was really cool. Pretty funny.

I took MATH 3C with this professor, and I would have to say that he was my favorite math teacher here at UCSB. Class was not mandatory, but I would recommend going. He was really easy to understand and could effectively convey the concepts to the class. The tests were also completely reasonable and there were no questions that were impossible.

Good but don't really remember much, too many other subjects have been memorized and forgotten since then

He was always very willing to help. His tests were funny and interesting and so were his lectures.

Matt was a great help for this course. Basically if you went to his sections and took advantage of office hours when needed, you did well. He reviewed the material at the level you needed for exams.

Great teacher; he explained to me concepts clearly. Probably would not have survived this class without him.

Great TA! Very helpful and takes hints from students on which ways they learn better.

I had him as a TA for Math 3C which dealt with Linear Algebra. He was student oriented, in that what he covered in section was consistent with the material we had to know and was always open to answering questions. He would answer the questions in a manner that suited the student such that we would understand the topic clearly and such.

Such courage in teaching the maths.

Helpful t.a that went over all the practice tests in Econ. He tried to explain higher level theories for the students that wanted extra insight. If you are interested in the major, then he is a great teacher. The only thing is that the section felt really slow. Overall, good T.A and helpful.
