HW-30%, Midterms(2)-25%, Final-25%,Quizzes-10%, Attendence-10% Lectures were all over the place and & there was no clear pacing/organization. Exams were all online, attendance was not taken (points were given to everyone). Gives extensions pretty easily & is very accessible by email. Take if you want an easy A, avoid if you actually want to learn.
Although he is an intelligent man he is almost neglectful of students. He did not post reviews for any of the 3 tests and stopped having class a week early for review for the final but provided no materials. He then changed the grading criteria after the final on a whim. class wasn't difficult but he sure is.
6A all the tests and homework were online. Always my King. Love him. Bless his soul.
EXTREMELY easy prof. No exam whatsoever. 1 HW per week, with HW answer literally at the end of textbook used in class. I took this class as a fun GE (as a physics major) knowing that he wouldn't add too much to my course load, but if you're a math major that need a rigorous hyperbolic geometry foundation, he is probably not your best choice.
Choose him if you want an A. Online midterm / final. All the notes and lectures are available on canvas.
A laughable class: All exams completely online and multiple choice, and even the lectures and notes were uploaded. Impossible to fail and a relief after previous math classes. I rarely went to lecture, but he seems like a super nice guy with lots of office hours. If you really want to master the content and learn every detail, choose someone else.
YYDS!
Such an amazing 6A class. Both midterms and final completely online, weekly quizzes also online (and tell you the correct answers after 1st attempt, even though you get 5 attempts). Doesn't take attendance. He is a confusing lecturer and hard to understand, but I just signed up for CLAS and never went to lecture ever. Got an A+ so easily.
