This class made me depressed! Horrible introduction to classes at UCSB!

Heavy curve on the first midterm, easy quizzes and the final exam was online. Doing the homework and attending CLAS really helped me.

nice person but a very bad lecturer. i did not understand anything from lecture but CLAS was very helpful. The quizzes were really easy and they were worth 30% of the grade. The homework was difficult but it helped out my grade.

Moves through material at a generous pace, but does listen to criticisms and comments. Overall, she is a good teacher, but in order to be successful in her class, you must be willing to practice and try to learn the material on your own as well. Overall, if your a math-oriented person, she is a good teacher. Class is curved generously, easy quizes

Mrs. Bueno is a great professor always willing to help her students although at the begginning of the quarter she went way too fast but she took students critisms and slowed down, i would recommend to take CLAS to clarify the concepts shes isn't able to cover in depth due to the lack of time

Worst professor I have ever had! Does not know how to teach a class, especially one with mostly new students. If it wasn't for CLAS, I would have failed this class, instead of barely passing!

The worst professor hands down I have ever dealt with, if you get stuck with her make sure to sign up for CLAS because you will not learn a single thing attending her class.

Easily the worst math teacher I've ever had. She could barely explain the material, her examples were confusing and convoluted, and she made numerous mistakes every lecture. In the few times I did talk to her, she was less than friendly. Asking her even the easiest question will result in a cold, disrespectful response. Avoid her at all costs.
