Professor Narang is easily one of the funniest professors I've ever had. He is engaging, and I would take any IR class with him again.

I went to his office hours, and he gives amazing advice on grad schools and life in general. He is extremely willing to answer all your questions, and is just a super chill guy. Awesome professor.

By far, my favorite professor at UCSB. Hes really funny. His lectures are organized and interesting. Seems like he actually cares about his students. Always a long line to meet him at office hours, but worth going if you have time.

Such a funny professor and pretty attractive. His lectures are very interesting. The midterm and final are fairly easy. Part of it was a take home essay and the other in class identifications. He posts his lectures online and the readings follow lectures but lectures are fun to go to. I would so love to have this professor again.

He's a funny guy and gives great lectures that really help you understanding the long readings. Regardless, the readings are fairly easy, just long. Office hours definitely help too and are worth it.

Prof Narang is the best!! I took 106NS (Nuclear Security) with him this quarter after taking him for PS7 my first year. He's kind, funny, and caring as a professor. Class was half Zoom/half in person with nuclear experts across the country as speakers. Wish I could take him again but he's stepping up to an admin position and no longer a prof

I have taken multiple classes with Professor Narang and I can safely say his nuclear security course is his best course. Your grade consists of attendance/participation, midterm paper, and a final paper. Guest lecturers from D.C. and respected professors from the field. Best course in the department by far. Highly recommend taking his course.

This was my absolute favorite class in 4 years at UCSB. The class invited in a bunch of foreign policy experts that Professor Narang worked with in the Pentagon and Washington DC to talk about nuclear weapons. Also, Narang is amazing. He's really nice and caring. I would take the course again in a heartbeat.

Great class. The lectures are interesting, and he posts everything online to study. Completely agree about office hours. He is really nice and he gives great advice. Would definitely take another class with him.

Could not recommend Narang more. Inspirational, funny, and very fair. UCSB is very lucky to have him!!

He is the nicest Professor on campus. Super smart, and totally approachable. I actually changed my major to Political Science because of this class. Wish I could take another one with him.

He is a very funny professor, and his lectures are helpful and informative. The readings are tedious, so going to class really helps to make sense of them, and his is usually as fun as classes tend to get in my opinion.
