One of my favorite professors ever. Definitely take his class if you can. Super nice guy and really informative and entertaining lectures. Lecture attendance not mandatory but he covers the same info as the textbook so I never read and went to lecture instead. Easy to get a good grade as long as you pay attention. Love him

Professor Narang is a great guy, and great lecturer too. Lots of assigned readings but I was rarely on top of those tbh and no problems ever really came up from that. Section was kinda lame but easy points.

Narang is super engaging and very friendly, makes attending lectures not a burden but he doesn't care if you come or not. The readings are heavyyy and you shouldn't skimp on them but if you miss some you won't suffer too hard. Very few grades though basically just participation and the exams but he gives you study guides.

Best prof ever, read the entire textbook even though his lectures follow it closely, but that was a ton of reading. aside from reading, no hw and the midterm/final wasn't bad, he is really rooting for his students and wants them to succeed in his class. he's knowledgeable and makes material easily comprehensible through funny lectures.

I really like the breakdown of the class grading criteria. 30% participation, 30% midterm, 40% final. It's not ideal for most classes, but the tests are made up of the terms and an essay. Essays were take home, and you had remember 80ish terms, not bad considering we go over them a lot. Also you get a bunch of time to write the essay.

Professor Narang cares so much about his students. He is an incredibly nice guy and makes the class very accessible for freshmen. In particular, he had the TAs grade freshman papers easier so that they wouldn't have their GPAs ruined (he understands that many of us are planning on going to law school).

The most intelligent, caring, and funny professor I have met. His teaching is organized and his slides are clear on the subjects. he is a scholar and professor that is super passionate and knowledgeable in the field. he made me change my mind of my pols major concentration.

I loved this class, lectures were incredibly helpful for understanding the textbook/material. He taught about real world issues and connected his own experience with the lectures. He was very accommodating, and he made sure that his students weren't overwhelmed/understood the material. He always answered and encouraged questions.

Prof. Narang has amazing lectures; very informative and entertaining. Grade based off of section, midterm essays, and final essays (grading is strict and based on TA). We read the whole 600+ page book, so get ready to read.

Prof Narang is GREAT. For his PS7 class, the textbook is easily found online. Super interesting class content, he clearly loves the topic, and he's super welcoming outside of class. I wish I could've taken his class in person, but highly recommend anything he teaches. Focus on textbook readings and you'll be fine!
