She's a really sweet lady. Very amusing and her accent is adorable. She will do her best to help you no matter what problems you're having. Very understanding. Some sadly take advantage of how nice she is. Highly recommend.
She was great! She made class really fun and made sure everyone understood the material. She makes it difficult enough where you learn the material, but doesn't give out busy work and is very flexible
borromeo was nice, but she moved so fast and only spoke italian and it made content and learning that much more difficult. wouldn't recommend, very harsh grader and few assignments make your grade weighted by very little
Fun class, as are most of the elementary Italian courses. Just do the reading and study for the quizzes and you'll pass.
I had Carla for Italian 6, she speaks very fast, unlike the other professors. She is impossible to get outside of her one hour of office hours, never responds to emails and does not understand technology. Tried to blame me for her not understanding how to post something to GauchoSpace.
She is really nice and funny and tries to get everyone in the class involved. BUT her accent is very strong and she speaks very quickly so sometimes it was almost impossible to understand her. She would bounce from topic to topic so fast that it was often hard to figure out what we were even learning about.
OH. MY. GOSH. Borromeo is by far THE BEST Italian teacher of the bunch. You have to take her if you have any interest in the language. She is super clear with explanations and really cares about / gets to know her students personally. Every class is interesting, fun, and different. I want to stay in touch with her even after the class ended.
She is the most adorable human you will ever meet! I had her for two quarters, and she is absolutely amazing! I learned so well from her! You should really take her if you can!
I've had three different Italian profs and Carla was by far the best. She makes coming to class everyday worth it, she keeps it entertaining and really wants her class to do well. Take her every quarter if you can.

Nice, very enthusiastic about the subject and teaches a lot about the culture and lifestyles of Italy. However, she is a bit disorganized/scatterbrained and less systematic than other profs.
Great lady! Fun class, easy and she is really helpful. Listened to a lot of Italian music in her class!
