The Baldwins are great. The material is interesting and informative. If you attend class 70% of the time and skim through the book it should be an easy A. Not too much work involved. If you know your own body and took any kind of sex ed, it should just expand on the knowledge you already know.
greaaat class. i loved it. MAKE SURE U ATTEND those study sessions, the information they give you make up 90% of the tests. overall, the class was very interesting. i never missed a lecture because the lectures were so fun to attend...other than the guest speaker ones.
Amazing!
Great class, very entertaining, funny guy.
Tests are easy if you have memorized literally every piece of info he tought in lecture and wrighting. don't waste time wrigting paragraphs bullet points will do.

Not an easy A like people might think. But the lectures are enojyable and if you go to them and the review sessions before the midterm and do the reading you will do well. I did all that and got an A!
Amazing class. Everyone who lives in Isla Vista should take it.....
Best professor I've had at UCSB! If you don't take a class with him, you will really miss out. The classes might not be easy but he'll be glad to help you if you go to his office hours. Trust me, you will never fall asleep in his class!
the test are hard
just go to the reviews with a laptop. copy EVERYTHING down. study everything given on the reviews with flashcards. chances are, you will be able to get by answering 4/6 questions with just the information from the reviews alone. lectures are great. readings aren't that bad. overall, this class was super. i managed to pull an A- i would recommend it
Extremely interesting material covered and the lectures are truly entertainment-but you MUST study! Who ever thought a class about SEX would be so hard? I didnt, but you learn quickly what the format is, and you can go off that for the remaining tests.
I liked everything about this class except for the midterms. There is no reason to make sex midterms so hard. I would rather hook up a car battery to my testicles than retake the 3rd midterm.
Very interesting class, these teachers are straight up crazy & its amazing that they actually found each other & got married! lectures must be seen to be believed !but you MUST study & do the reading bc the tests are pretty difficult, but i studied & got an A, but if def wasnt an easy A
TEST FORMAT:6 multiple choice,5Choose4 Short Answer Essays. If YOU CAN GET URSELF 2 READ, and can REMEMBERwhat you read,u will do good on the tests. Short answer questions say things like, "What is depo-provera." Well, if u read the reading ucan easily answer.THEY TELLU EXACT PAGES ONTEST. JUST READ!

This class was very interesting and enjoyable to go to. The tests are very easy if you do the reading and go the review sessions. The class is only an hour and it goes by really fast. There are 3 midterms, but they are very flexible if you need to make up one.
They're nice people. But it is a hard class. I liked the subjects and there is no way you fall asleep in lecute, cuz the topic is just interesting and they're funny. But the midterms and the final are very hard. I took it p/not pass and I passed with a C-. It is NO easy A !!! you have to study !!
Absolutely loved the class and lectures...very interesting topic. Everyone should have to take this class. However, midterms and the final were difficult...make sure you read and go over lecture notes. They also like to throw in Q's from lecture...so go. All in all, loved the Baldwin's & the class.
The Baldwins are two of the best teachers I've had at UCSB. I thoroughly enjoyed their lectures, and I got to know them personally in 152B. They are great people and they truly care about their students' learning. Tests are difficult, but the subject is very interesting.

great lectures. This class should be a requirment for everyone. easy B if you just study the stuff an hour of 2 the night before the midterm.
Lectures are worthless and midterms basically consist of the readings. I went to class a total of 6 times. The short answer questions were based on the readings, so basically if you read the text, you dont need to go to lecture.
