Take a course with her, genuinely nice and kind person who cares for her students but doesn't lose the crux of her intellectual curiosity. Will challenge you to think outside the box and engage with some seriously cool history.
I thought her class was easy up until the final. The final consists of 3 short answer questions and 2 essays, while our coursework involved 2 essays. How is our coursework LESS work than our final? Our sections were easy, and participation matters. My biggest piece of advice is to talk to your TA. My TA was much more helpful than Professor Moore.
Graded based on a midterm, final, book report essay, and attendance/participation. Overall there's a fair amount of reading but the professor is an easy grader.
grade is based on essay 1, 2, and 2 final essays + section participation. really nice and respectful prof & simple, easy to follow lectures and weekly readings that you'd talk about in section to later use in your essays. pretty easy essay prompts as long as you stay caught up w/content! was iffy about history courses at first, but loved this class
super easy class and although you dont interact with the professor a lot, her lectures are okay and decently interesting. great class for freshman who just need GE credits.
