Scott was a really cool professor. Straight forward, to the point but also is funny. Important to attend lectures as he will go over certain problems that will be on the exams. The exams for 3B are hard, but they are designed to ensure you really understand the material. He gives good advice about your career as well as things to do at UCSB.
Scott was cool. material is kinda boring because its accounting and class was in Harold Frank so I often skipped. Kinda regret it because I liked his chill vibe and he was lowkey really funny. Class can get dull though so just make sure you re-read everything on Wiley if you doze off. Do the Orion practice test questions!
Super great professor. Class is pretty hard so try to do best on homework and first midterm. Because midterm 2 and the final will ruin your grade in the class. Super nice professor highly recommend.
Even though he's a bit monotone in lecture, he is honestly one of the nicest, most caring professors I've had. He understands that students are stressed under the curve and does his best to make every student feel relaxed and able to to succeed. Midterms and final are super hard, need to know everything perfectly just to do average but is expected.
Fulkerson is dope. Tests are multiple choice and challenging. You either know it or you dont. Fulkerson cares about his students and he is approachable. He will thoroughly answer your questions. The material is more difficult than 3A because it gets more specific. Do the end of chapter homework material, as itll reinforce concepts.
He is a superstar. Really cares about his students and Im glad hes teaching full time at UCSB now !!!! Made me love accounting believe it or not
Fulkerson truly cares about the success of his students and gives valuable career/life advice. Hard material but he is very accessible in office hours and listens to students concerns. By far one of the best, most caring, professors in the Econ department. Has turned accounting into a much more enjoyable class!
Fulkerson is a caring and thorough professor. He was very helpful and approachable during office hours. Some question on the test were tricky, so I would recommend coming after the test to check on them just in case they pop up on the final.
One of the best Econ Accounting professors in UCSB. His midterms and final are much easier. Students who attend lecture and sections are expected to get better grades.
He is very well spoken, charming and respectful. He is always willing to help and answer questions; it is obvious he cares about students. Tests are a bit difficult but not too terrible. I would definitely take another class with him again.
Tests are tricky because he twisted the words and asks some critical thinking questions, but every econ test here is tricky so I don't blame him. Overall great professor and very clear about what he is teaching
Great Professor! His lectures are clear and he answers questions in details. Tests are all MC but it may be longer than you expect. Chill prof but not boring at all. Btw, he likes watching The Bachelor !
