Professor Price is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. His enthusiasm for chemistry definitely keeps people interested. He is very helpful during office hours. He's a great guy, very nice and he cares about his students. Would definitely recommend him if you need to take chemistry.

Very good professor. Genuinely excited about teaching chemistry. Like, his enthusiasm made me want to go to lecture. Didn't study well and received a C, but that was my own fault. Huge curve really helped. Best chem professor, I think. He's also really hot. Really. Hot.

Excellent professor; the best teacher I've ever seen in an academic setting. He is funny and brilliant & extremely helpful. He sends tons of emails with prep & review questions, and emails his presentations in advance. You can see he genuinely cares about chemistry & wants his students to be as excited. Consider yourself very lucky if you get him.

Price is a great professor. His midterms and quizzes had some tricky questions, but their difficulty was balanced by the huge curve implemented at the end of the course. His lectures were always helpful for the homework and his lecturing style is conducive to note-taking. He is a good speaker and is well-prepared for lectures, highly recommended.

Price really wants his students to do their best and tries to make chemistry exciting/interesting. It's in your best interest to go to lecture- he has slides on Gauchospace, but writes on the whiteboard to accompany those slides. He sends out e-mails and follow-up problems to do. You must commit the time to understanding the concepts.

If you go to office hours to get to know him, it really helps out in terms of learning the material and him remembering you when it comes to grading you on improvement if you're not doing as well as you could. Great professor!

Tests are hard but the curve helps. Price genuinely cares for his students and tries his hardest to help them out. He gives good advice for studying for the class. Listen to him. He knows what he is talking about.

He is probably one of he nicest professors you will ever have. Really hard and challenging class, but take advantage of the emails he sends before lecture, they are very helpful. Do the book problems, take CLAS, go to office hours, make your time on ALEKS as efficient as possible, and an A is certainly possible. Study hard though!

Price was great at explaining concepts clearly. The tests were challenging and he expects a lot from his students. Overall I really enjoyed his class, he made chemistry fun and interesting and has his students' best interests in mind.

Such a great guy! He genuinely cares about his students and makes sure they do well. If you do everything in the email he sends out before every lecture, you're good to go. His midterms and final are definitely a battle to get through, but it's understandable. He is always ready to help you with your questions. It doesn't hurt he's amazing looking.

Excellent professor who really loves chemistry and loves to teach. I really appreciated his emails on the daily on what we should expect in class and what we should do to prepare. CLAS helped as well. 2 midterms and 2 quizzes which were very do able and final was cumulative of the entire class focusing on concepts that everyone missed.

Scott is an Amazing person. He's passionate about his work and cares about his students. Judging from other students, his class became increasingly harder, but he's usually generous with the curve.Fair warning though, out of all professors I've met so far he's the hottest and youngest one out there so it's easy to get distracted. I know I did =)

Price is a great guy with a lot to prove in his dept so his final is always unforgivable. It will bring the brightest of students to their knees even if they completely know the subject. I adore him though - he's 100% helpful and his lessons are straight forward. He made what I was told would be the worst class in the gen chem series pretty fun.

He takes care of his students by sending daily emails about the upcoming lectures. He explains everything well in class but his texts are on another level of difficulty. He really makes you work hard. He is also nice during office hours.

Scott Price is one of the best professors I have ever had in my life. He sends a prep email before each lecture, lectures are accessible the day before class, he helps you with tough problems (one-on-one too), his explanations are crystal-clear, and he can explain concepts multiple ways. He is a very nice person, and wants everyone to succeed.

Very enthusiastic, lots of cool demos. Hes very organized for being 27 or so. His lectures are mostly done on the board, so even though he posts his slides online youll want to attend lectures. Hes always trying to help out his students and he wants everyone to do well, which not all teachers do.

Chem 1B the course itself can't be easy. It's the hardest out of the gen-chem series. Yet Price does a great job teaching it. Go to class, listen, and dont forget your iClicker. Very cute demos. He's such a cutie.

Good teacher, clearly tries to imitate the way Kunkel teaches. His tests are mostly fair, although the final did have some curveballs. He's from Chicago, and he has a very slight twang to the way he speaks (also like Kunkel) and it bugs the hell out of me. I doubt other people notice it though (I'm very particular)

Great chemistry professor! Very fair grading wise for quizzes and midterms. For those tests, complete the book problems and rework problems from lecture. Final was ridiculously difficult... for that expect the unexpected.

Scott Price is one of my favorite teachers so far. His lessons are well-planned and very clear. He gives us time to take good notes and encourages questions. He is a funny quy, so lectures are always interesting. I actually enjoyed chemistry while in his class. I failed the first midterm, but tried really hard and ended up with an A- overall.

Good professor, teaches everything really well. helps you understand everything with actual practice problems. Tests are huge killers. Getting a passing grade on a test pre-curve is rediculous.

He's a pretty good teacher and is really into what he teaches. His chem1a class was pretty easy I guess but his chem1b class was pretty hard. The final was an OVERKILL! There were problems I've never seen before and there were so many long problems. T_T
