Interesting class, lots of work. Reader is FAT. Exams are open book which was nice. I would reccommend this class to Art History majors (especially for the Arch requirement) but not for someone looking to fill a GE.
lectures are loaded with valid info & he has a sense of humor. Group projects were fun & relatively easy. Alot of reading & tough final, I would suggest this class only for art history, architecture, or environmental studies majors.
I really enjoyed this class. I thought it was very interesting and the tests were all open book/notes which helped a lot. He was a really great professor and made lectures very interesting.
the class is extremely interesting, but the tests are not worth taking the class. they are so extremely hard and he expects extreme amounts of detail in answers even though he does not give you near enough time to finish. also, you never know what type of answer he is looking for, and the essay, forget about that... he expects too much
is all over the place. the readings sections and lectures do not have any connection whatsoever. class is interesting but try to avoid if you can. one could never figure out what he wanted in the exams let alone the paper
do not take this class unless you are an arthistory major or have some deep desire and passion for arthistory. the professor and the ta love the subject so much and their collaborative minds make the tests freakin hard. i barely passed by the hair on the back of my knuckles. this is the hardest class i have ever taken. this class is way too hard
arthi136h - Awesome course, I highly recommend it. All tests are open book and open note. However, you must go to class and do the reading. If you do, you will get an A. Jeremy had clear, organized, loaded lectures. You will learn a lot.
