CollegeHe is misogynistic and does not care about his students. All he cares about is his research. He has VERY unclear instructions and guidelines so you never know what you are supposed to be doing. He is completely unbearable
His grading rubric was not clear at all. The assignments were graded very subjectively by him and his TA. A lot of reading and writing is awaiting if you want to attend CHEM 149.
Absolutely the most disorganized and least caring professor I have ever seen. Strangest grading and sometimes even breaks promises. Avoid him at all cost. Too bad for rmp to not have 0 as an option.
my experience with him is as an undergraduate trying to work in his lab. when i was interviewing with him, he constantly degraded me and only talked about himself. he is horrible to everyone in his and which really sucked cuz what his lab is like my dream career. stay away from him because there is literally an entire subreddit about his abuses.
Back when I took this class, he got mad at me for asking questions in his class during an inverted classroom setup. Like “omg you don't know that?”. YES. That's why I'm asking the fricken question. Also was disrespectful in office hours. Guy has an ego as well.
I cant stand Norbert. If you can avoid taking his class please do. He has an attitude and is not patient at all with his students. It is graded so strictly. The class average was a 32%. The curve bumped me down to a 26. Please find someone else if you can.
