CollegeHe made me hate music. Genuinely I hate Southern Indian Carnatic music so much now that I feel bad for Southern India. He doesn't understand iClicker and has the worst wifi ever. does not post grading rubric. iClicker messed up? You were there? Yeah nah lmao take that letter drop.
Attendance was mandatory, and he was very inconsiderate about missing class. On top of that, we had presentations for the section, final projects, concerts that were 2+ hours long, and a final that we had to study for. He isn't willing to help during office hours, and everyone in the department always seems to be in a rush. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
attendance through iClicker is a big part of your grade and was mandatory but the wifi was horrible in the LLCH and was kinda incosiderate about this. lectures were lengthy, word-heavy, and boring imo and a lot of the time he'd skip half the slide and say he'd come back to it later but didn't. lectures just felt all over the place. not worth
mandatory iClicker, and he takes away points if you do/don't capitalize letters at the end of the lecture word of the day. ta's don't know what they're doing and don't communicate amongst each other, so the material is really random in sections.1300-word paper, and you don't receive a writing credit. Take something else to fulfill art credit tbh.
The attendance was 20% grading. However, the internet in the lecture hall is so lagging which makes the check in extremely hard. Also, even you spell the code correctly, you still cannot get the point unless you capitalize some letters. In the last few lectures, the instructor ignored the iclicker bug and lower our attendence for no reason!
It's a super awesome course. Lecture attendance was a big part of the grade so easy points, and so is section attendance. We had a couple of big assignments, like a presentation in a section, and one paper. But nothing super hard. Fun class and I would recommend it.
