Goes pretty fast in lecture but is quite accommodating in grading and answers questions whenever asked. Midterm & final were both fair. Material definitely gets tougher towards the end of the course, it is essential to stay on top of the work and not fall behind. HW is graded but he drops the lowest score. If you have a good TA the class is doable

Very unclear lectures. Talks and writes super fast and expects people to immediately understand what he is going over. Tends to spend more time on easier material, then flies past complex topics. Only got through class because of the TA.

Don't skip lecture, its the only way to know what you need to know. Homework is lengthy and worth 30% of your grade. Practice midterms and finals are the most important, they are nearly identical to the actual exams. Hes a nice person and understanding, will drop assignments and give extensions pretty often. Not hard but gotta put in the work.

I really struggled in this class because of how disorganized he is

MATH2A . Lam Kelvin 21 Days Ago

So bad, genuinely so bad. Lectures make no sense and you have to teach yourself everything. Homework always has tech issues that aren't notices until they are alr due. expects you to understand everything after he says it once. goes deep into examples but doesn't explain his work. lowkey so bad never take again.

MATH6A . Lam Kelvin A Month Ago

His handwriting could be hard to read sometimes but he posts the notes on canvas and clearly tells you what to know for the exams. Practice exams are very similar to midterms, worth a lot of your grade, but he drops ur lowest. He is very caring and always answers questions thoughtfully
