CollegeIf you're a PBS Major looking for an easy prep for major course, take LING70 with Kennedy! He is very knowledgeable in the area and the course itself is set up for you to succeed. An A is very attainable and the TA's are super helpful. Overall the easiest and most interested prep for major I took!
You could just attend lectures and not do any additional studying/work and end with an A. He's really knowledgeable and passionate about the content of the class and your grade is based off of quizzes and reflections where an A is guaranteed, along with exams. So your grade is more padded then it might be in some other GEs. Overall recommend!
lecture and section attendance not required, but you do have to do an online makeup activity for section. STUDY before the exam, there are so many terms and you need to have them memorized. he's a good professor, goes off on random tangents sometimes, he's just a chill guy. oh and he's good at explaining stuff to.. which is important
Very chill and nice guy, and explains concepts well. Class was super easy yet interesting. Exams were fair.
Informational lectures, one of the nicest professors I've had, clear grading requirements. One of the best GEs.
Prof Kennedy is an awesome guy! His lectures are really interesting and he has a great sense of humor. SUPER understanding and really does care about his students. Tests are reasonable if you attend the lectures. Most of the test content comes from lectures. Eli review assignment is easy points if you do all parts. 100% would recommend this class.
