CollegeThis professor doesn't respond to emails and doesn't post assignments on time, so you never know when assignments are due. very strict on deadlines and takes off points for being late. required a lot of writing assignments, not considering the fact we have other classes and jobs. would recommend to take a better ED professor.
Really liked this course. There are weekly reading preps that are relatively easy, bi-weekly reflections, a presentation, and an essay. Attendance is mandatory and class is 2.5 hours but very interesting. You work in a group the whole quarter which can be good or bad. Lohwasser is very passionate and cares about her students.
Super caring professor who wants everyone to succeed :) Easy A, but lots of busy work and random assignments. Overall, the course wasn't too bad and the prof was pretty nice
Often ouldn't post assignments till the day before; added a random assignment the last week. She was rude in her responses to questions when they were incorrect, simply because she was unorganized. The class was easy, and ta's were great she was the only issue. Easy course, I just didn't like her and there's better ED professors.
Best course you can ever take in UCSB
Very bad at canvas and never responds to emails. Not organized and takes so many points off for assignments being late but doesn't even post the assignments on time so you never know when they're due
