Students learn essential tools to understand and analyze financial information and financing strategies for ongoing and new business ventures.This course is designed for those who will be participating in the decision-making processes of a small to large size business organization either as an analyst or an operating manager. Major topics covered include financial analysis and management, time value of money, interpreting financial statements and their analysis, cash flow analysis, capital budgeting, project evaluation, financial decision making, and valuing an existing or new venture. In addition to the practical application of financial theory, you will be asked to solve several business case studies.

Prerequisites: Sophomore standing or higher.
