CollegeKrut really wants to see the writing develop in his students and it really shows, he has you do many writing exercises that really stimulate creative thinking and in the process you get really close with fellow students. I am really lucky to have gotten him as a professor, he is such a good person. My class was at 8 am and I still went every time
This was one of my favorite classes I have ever taken from UCSB. I love how creative all of our class activities were, it really made class fun and engaging. I also love how heave his own personal experiences when we are discussing in class. I was dreading this class because it was an 8 am but I have loved every second of it and wish it was longer!
He's definitely my favorite writing instructor at UCSB! I had him in Winter 2021, and the class was in hybrid mode. The online part was very easy and not time-consuming at all. Attendance is required for the in-person classes but he always let us go earlier. 3 easy essays about your own life experience. Very enjoyable class.
WRIT105C was my favorite class this quarter because of Professor Krut. He is probably my favorite teacher at UCSB. The gradebook is mainly composed of three papers that he gives us a lot of time as well as great feedback in order to ace all the papers. WOULD LOVE TO TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HIM AGAIN!!
Krut is the best professor at UCSB! Took this class and it ended up being my favorite. Graded on 3 creative essays (each 25% and 4-6pages) and 25% participation for class activities. Took this online and his lectures were btwn 2-5min. HIGHLY recommend for anyone who is creative and likes writing about themselves. Easy A if you put in effort
Someone else said to take Krut even if he teaches an 8 am and I agree, he is awesome he would always let us out early and the assignments were super doable, he was amazing
