Yaps so much about useless information, feels like a high school course, not useful at all. completely waste of time. professor is a hard grader
You'll learn a lot about writing in this class. The teacher aims to not only improve your writing skills, but teach you to analyze and write in new genres. However, the workload is quite intense (though not unreasonably so). If you want to improve your writing and aren't afraid of work, go for it.
Eva is a good professor and she gives helpful feedback, but be prepare to write A LOT!!!!!! If you take other writing courses in the same quarter, I do suggest you to choose another WRIT2 professor because you will feel a bit overwhelmed if you are Eva's class. Be careful when reading the writing instructions.
(taken online during COVID) for a 5 unit class, i definitely think it required less work than expected. be prepared to read a few articles and write 1-3 assignments a week. lectures were pretty short. no final, just a portfolio(that you will have a rough draft of already and just need to revise to turn in). a generous grader and seems very caring!
Take her class in 2020 Spring. Very KIND teacher. Feel comfortable to talk with her. But a lot of writing:(
She was a really sweet lady. Be prepared for a bunch of writing though, there was an essay due almost every week. We did a lot of free writing and there was also a lot of required outside reading. You can tell she cares and always offers to help with any assignment. She's also a very easy grader.
