Literally the best professor ever. Lectures are extremely clear and tests are similar to class material. Very nice too.
Zhang was great for 4B!! All lectures were recorded and notes were posted on Canvas. Practice tests were given for the midterms and final and were almost identical. Only went to class the first day and the testing days and got an A. 2 homework assignments a week but only 10 questions. Material is relatively easy but does a good job explaining.
Her detailed notes and great lectures make the course material easy to understand, and the HW assignments directly relate to the lectures, making them manageable. Lectures are recorded, so attending lecture wasn't necessary and practice tests resemble actual tests, which are fair and easy. One of the best profs at UCSB and my favorite of all time.
Though the explanation aren't as clear as I want to, but she put in a lot of effort to make things easy to understand, which is really a nice professor. Also, the homework and exams in general are easy to pass.
Very Helpful, straightforward tests, nice person. Overall a refreshing member of the UCSB math department.
The tests were straightforward and reflected practice and homework. She answered my emails and questions promptly and even followed up to make sure I wasn't still confused. Her lectures are a good pace and she mainly focused on core concepts.
