CollegeShe was nice and I went in for help a lot, but I don't think that she really compensates for students who don't have a really strong background already with modeling and calculus. Her review sessions were incredibly unuseful and so were the study guides. Tests were hard- basically memorize the lecture notes. Partial credit is nice.
For a non-math person, this class is pretty difficult, but Dr. Moeller really wants everyone to do well, and she's so sweet and helpful. The exams were difficult, but there's a lot of partial credit given, so just try your best. Labs are a lot, but the expectations are clear. Overall, do your best and ask for help, and you're going to be okay.
do not take eemb 120 with her, class is only based on two midterms one project almost impossible to get an A.
Professor Moeller took a subject that could have extremely difficult and boring and made it engaging and easy to understand. While the class can move fast at times, she is very transparent with what she wants you to know and every test question felt fair, even if it was a difficult.Coding help hours are also awesome, as they just give the answers.
Holly is one of the best professors I've had and has an incredible gift for teaching. She's so compassionate and helpful! Her lectures are recorded, but also fun to attend in real time. The 3 hr lab is tough, but it's important to pay attention to do well on the HW. Keep up with final project optional deadlines in order to do well!
Holly is amazing. She speaks so eloquently and explains concepts so clearly in lectures. It's clear that she's truly an expert in her field. She's also so kind, definitely one of the sweetest professors I've had. In the end I believe the class was curved up a little too! Only downside was the 3 hour lab sections, but they were manageable :)
