Class was confusing but professor is super kind. She genuinely cares about students and will give you good feedback if you ask her for help. There were def times when the readings/assignments confused me... but she was helpful during office hours.

There is weekly homework, but it is graded on a turn in/not turn in basis so do not worry about the amount! It is pretty confusing but grading is designed for everyone to do well. Not like other CLIT classes, attendance is mandatory, but she is pretty interesting. This class is meant to be confusing and it is!

this class was probably the worst class I've sat through since being here. I could see how it could be interesting to others but not what I was expecting for a comparative literature class. Hard to stay engaged and she has a hard time with tech. seems like she cares and is nice but just make sure ya'll know what you're getting into.

Great professor, highly recommend. Participation 25% with iclicker, which was a bit annoying, but lectures were fascinating and it was worth it. Also gave extra credit opportunities with discussion posts. 37.5% final paper and 37.5% final, but the final got cancelled with the TA strike (this was fall 2022) and she gave everyone an A on it.

Prof Vagt's class is awesome because she has material to provide if you want to get in depth but it seemed also the people who weren't super into c lit didn't struggle to complete the course. she provided both online and synchronous lectures for the split quarter which was great. gives a lot of constructive feedback. definitely recommend!

Professor Vagt is very elegant and caring. She gives inspiring lectures and you will learn a lot from her. TA s are also very nice and caring. An easy A if you go to the lecture and do the readings. Overall an amazing learning experience.
