CollegeHonestly shes a decent professor. She talks a lot and its kinda difficult to stay engaged in class. BUT my main point is DO NOT take this class if you are easily triggered by graphic content (SA, racism, etc). I found this out on the first day of class and by that point all other class options were full. so just be warned-- its graphic af
My all time favorite class that I've taken here. The prof was so nice and her lectures were easy to understand and interesting. I enjoyed the different texts that we were assigned to read each week and I found the papers and homework assignments to be really interesting and easy.
I could've failed this class but Professor Weber did not let me. She was really helpful and even extended deadline dates for me( she saw that I was actually participating in class). The class is writing heavy but if you enjoy analysis papers then you would like this class. Overall great professor and actually care about whether you pass or fail.
This honors seminar was super interesting and personally impactful! Prof Weber successfully led students through the art of advocacy for imprisoned scholars and offered support and creative ideas the whole way through. Though the online format was difficult at some times, I had a lot of takeaways from this seminar. I would recommend it to others!
I spent my time doing the important readings and I watched parts of lecture just for more context. Weekly assignments that require peer reviews, a midterm paper which was 3 short essay questions, and one final long essay. Two small EC opportunities. Not hard to get an A, just a lot of work.
If you're taking her for online, just don't. I'm sure shes a good prof in person but she has seriously failed to adapt to online teaching. Def the worst online experience I've had so far. Awful communicator with super confusing deadlines and instructions. Syllabus was just wrong. Peer reviews mandatory every week. Ungodly amount of reading. 2/10
