CollegeRappaport is easily in my top 3 best professors I have had at UCSB. and I have been here for 5 years. She cares about her students and is very understanding. Her class is not tough and she makes it very interesting to learn about British history. She is super awesome and is willing to work with her students in a positive way. Take her class!!
Prof Rappaport is so caring & bubbly, she really wants students to do well in her class. There is a lot of reading. However, she takes the time to help out students during office hours if they are struggling with the material. Lectures are fun & engaging too. I'm not a history major & only taking this class as an elective but I'm enjoying it so far
Excellent Professor I am planning on taking another class with her. She is very passionate at her job and very interesting in her lectures. By far my favorite teacher at UCSB so far
Rappaport is a good preofessor. Gives extra credit opportunities, no midtem but you do four papers 2 short 2 long. She is passionate so thats good! she is not an intense grader either so the papers aren't a nightmare. ovrerall I liked her!
She is very passionate about what she teaches and it really rubs of on her students. She is very helpful and understanding. Her lectures are interesting and her assignments are not at all complicated. Great Professor!
Class is largely two essays (50%) and final (20%). She's pretty chill and there's EC. I hardly went to class but did well thanks to TA. The final is a bit annoying as you have to prep ~10 possible prompts (with quotes as evidence) on your cheat sheet but it's more busywork than hard. IDs on test are not bad at all. Read the books btw.
