Prof Krut has been my favorite professor so far at UCSB! His assignments were helpful outside of the classroom. (Resume, cover letter, email, tact letter) and a final business group project. He really cares about his students and gives very meaningful feedback. Would take the class again and the workload was manageable and I enjoyed his lectures.

Class is graded on participation and three essays. The three essays are the three different units for the class and a lot of consideration is put into the classwork done to help prepare you for the essays. He gives amazing feedback to help you grow as a writer. Even as an 8am class, he brought in amazing energy to keep you entertained.

Someone else said to take Krut even if he teaches an 8 am and I agree, he is awesome he would always let us out early and the assignments were super doable, he was amazing
