CollegeLAIS 10 class: Professor Lupi doesn't even lecture, he has other professors from different departments lecture each week. 3 Essays for the entire quarter which sum up grade. Grading depends on TA . Section is mando with a group project. Do not take class if you cheeks at writing.
Never met a professor with no amount of compassion. Really disliked him. Horrible human being.
Lupi is great! Very interested in the students and passionate about his work! He teaches in his own style and Ive had better but he makes up for it with his passion for students and teaching. The texts are always interesting and he goes out of his way to help students. take his class hes great!
He's really passionate and knowledgeable about the material but hasn't mastered teaching. Jumps around a lot so it's hard to take notes; he just kind of talks at you. Expects you to go beyond class discussion on the tests and he is definitely a hard grader. Not a terrible class but if you can take it with someone else, do it.
lectures = most painfull densly packed hours of your life. So much information that's all over the place & extreamly overwhelming. 4-5 readings (textbook / other), 2 forum responses, one Canvas quiz per week. Lecture and sections are mandatory. three in class essays as tests - easy. This class is alot of work but isnt difficult in terms of grades.
He was a good professor and this class is fascinating. However, it is hard. Like there is a tonnnn of content and lots of papers and writing.
