CollegeI took this course over the summer and it was async which has it's benefits and drawbacks. This course is good for people who want fewer assignments, but it's difficult to improve your grade if you do poorly on one. There was a midterm (40%), final essay (50%), and an easy exercise (10%).
The content itself was confusing but he took the time to make sure students understood the material to the best of their ability. You can tell her loves teaching the subject which made it interesting to learn. Grades were based on an easy assignment, the midterm paper and final paper. Show up to lectures and you should be fine.
Awesome professor! Took him for the Summer course, the class itself is a hard thing to grasp. But he has a way of explaining things really great. Go to office hours if things are not clear super nice in explaining if you really did not understand a single thing. Or to just talk, very interesting conventions, worth a while.
AMAZING TEACHER!! He makes everything very clear! Go to class and take comprehensive notes and you will do great! He rocks!!!!! 3
He really makes a boring class interesting! he genuinely cares that all his students understand the material! i would definitely take him again!
I cannot express how much I LOVED this class. Geoff is an excellent teacher and made Ethnomethodology FASCINATING. I would recommend any class taught by him VERY highly.
