CollegeDr. Coburn is a really sweet lady and posts all her lecture videos online for 120C. The exams are tough and you won't find the answers in hw or anything, but doable if you watch all the lecture videos in entirety. Pay close attention to hw because it is graded with scrutiny. She is super caring and helpful in office hours so definitely go.
Dr. Coburn never cared about the students. Super hard exams and low-quality assignments. Avoid her at all cost.
So many mistakes in her slides. Lecture is a waste of time.
I am not a great fan of unreasonably hard exams, highly disorganized slides, and amateur professorship. Dr. Coburn clearly don't have a good grasp of how to teach. Previously, she gained popularity with easy-A's (which is toxic); now, she tortures the class a lot. I will recommend Mouti or Ravat instead.
Nicest professor I've met. The grading scheme was very generous with hw being half the grade and only graded on completeness. She is very helpful during office hours. Her implementation of R in the course was most useful too. Especially compared to the majority of the PSTAT department, Dr. Coburn is amazing!
I just self-studied for all the materials and got an A. Exams become easy if you can 100% solve all these practice problems.
