CollegePretty entertaining so it's hard to fall asleep in class. Admired by many students. I would take more of his classes just because he's one of the better bio/chem teachers at ucsb. The Midterm was fair. If you participate more than once he'll call you by name. Overall a super caring and down-to-earth professor that knows what he's talking about.
Tests were modeled after the practice exams, past tests, and problem sets. If you put in the work you'll get a good grade. Dr. Lew was an amazing lecturer. He was very patient and thorough with course content.
Lew is a decent lecturer, but tends to go on many tangents.
