The class had a very manageable work load, and the material was really very interesting! I didnt think that I would be interested before hand, but the teacher is very passionate about the class and very clearly knows the subject well. There were three papers, and the third one was supposed to be built on one of the previous ones. 10/10 professor.

Stem major here. I expected to go into this class and just grind thru for the credit but prof Bernadette actually got me to care ab the renaissance. Readings tended to be a bit dry but lecture was interesting. Would take another class with Bernadette

Andrea is a nice professor. Lectures were hard to get through, lots of tangents. Online final exam, two essays, and one very easy project. Not a hard class but not an engaging one either

Great course to take at GE. Professor is very passionate but lectures are sometimes hard to follow as there is so much info on slides and she switches topics constantly. Slides are posted on canvas, weekly open-book quizzes. Midterm in class essay with cheat sheet, final online lots of writing. Attendance through poll everywhere.

The professor uses very hard-to-understand vocabulary in her lectures, and the reading is super confusing. Pretty dependent on who your TA is and if the sections help with your understanding. Lots of reading and writing, wouldn't recommend. Very broad and unorganized assignments

There was no option for English 145 - but Prof Andrea is an amazing and passionate professor. She cares about her students, welcomes participation and is clearly passionate about the subject. Put effort into the readings and come to class ready to talk! Highly recommend taking one of her courses
