CollegeShe was extremely rude and condescending to me in lab 3L. Is such a harsh grader and genuinely has no empathy for anyone.
She curves down and makes TA's take off points of assignments if the class average is too high. One time the TA told us to try on an assignment because the in the one he was talking about it was actually possible to get full credit if you got it all right. We were all excited for that. Also from how the TAs talked about her she was not nice.
i asked my lab TA if i could make up lab/ get online data so that i could take my bio exam due a conflicting schedule, and she said YES, but to ask pazos first. so i did, and she basically told me that it was my fault for making my schedule like that and that i could not skip lab. so i took the L on bio and got a 0 on that bc of lab. bruh.
So incredibly unprofessional. makes ta's grade down and harder, but doesn't give a rubric or examples of how it should be done, just expects students to "know better". Final is a mix of Chem 1a and 1b, but gives no resources. no lecture notes, no practice tests, no review sessions. Final is based on Chem 1a and 1b, even though the course isn't???
avoid her. haha you have no choice
Had Pazos for Chem 2AL/BL. She is a complete joke of a professor. Rude, condescending, and doesn't care for her students AT ALL. Besides the down curve, the whole 2BL class was unnecessarily hard because TAs were forced to take points away arbitrarily to keep averages lower. I truly don't understand why this woman is so obsessed with her average.
