CHEM112A . A Month Ago

He replies to emails incredibly fast and doesn't mind if you ask him the very basic questions! His lecture is very engaging and connects the materials to real-life applications. His tests were fair and really required a thorough understanding of the material but manageable! Definitely one of the greatest STEM professors I have ever had!

CHEM112A . A Month Ago

One of my favorite professors! Homework is 20% (always got 100%), section is 4%, lowest midterm is 12%, highest midterm is 24%, and the final is 40%. Tests were comprehensive and required critical thinking but were always fair. Also, I don't like math, but Lior actually made proving derivatives fun! (it's clear he really cares for his students)

CHEM112A . A Month Ago

Hard course, but great professor. He is amazing in his lectures and actually cares about his students. Stops during lectures to answer all questions and make sure everyone is following along, 10/10. His homeworks are kinda lengthy and difficult but his practice tests/problems prepare you so well for the real tests. Awesome guy

CHEM112A . A Month Ago

Quick email replies show that he cares a lot about his students. The fact that every topic he covers throughout the quarter intertwines with each other is extremely inspirational. Many EC opportunities. Exams are hard but fair. Handwritings and the audio of recorded lectures need some improvements. One of my fav professors in the department. S tier

Chill guy, truly passionate. I was scared for this class, but he made it fairly accessible, and the partial credit on exams was SUPER generous as long as you were able to display your understanding of the content. Expect to study a good amount, but the total amount of content is bearable. I would recommend! BTW do the extra credit!
