CollegeMany say Scott is tough, but he wants the best for his students. If you go to class, do the homework, and study ahead of time, you will succeed. He is very personable, knowledgable, funny, and good at teaching. I really think he has a bad rep for no reason. I loved his class and hope to take him again. He sets you up for success in future classes.
Personable guy and good lecturer. However, just the slides & sections won't save you on the test (I made that mistake.) Very difficult class, curved up to department recommendation, which seems fair. Scott as a teacher is very chill, just beware of those exams. Study. And do the HW.
he loves the 67 joke
Scott was very personable, and I found his lectures effective and enjoyable. Although tests are hard, he gives you resources to be able to succeed in them. Definitely do the back-of-the-book problems until they are muscle memory, and you will succeed. I also found reading the textbook helpful. He does curve the class though.
Best professor I've had at this school so far. Scott is a great lecturer and he makes his expectations very clear at the beginning of the quarter. It is a difficult class, but if you put in the work, your grade will reflect that.
LOVE SCOTT!!! Best professor ever! Very difficult class tho…but it is curved!
