CollegeJust show up to class, do the assignments, and give a decent presentation and you will pass. Pass/No Pass isn't a grade option here but since 118 is, participation is the only requirement for success. I liked Professor Chada's technical writing slide decks and I will be repurposing them for the rest of my time at UCSB.
Awesome professor and great lectures. Homework varied on the week, sometimes it was very hard, but grading was fair (after TA's were told to grade less harsh). The lab was fun :)
ChE 5 is a super good introduction to the major, and Chada is the perfect professor to introduce you to the department. He's caring, funny, accessible, and really just fun to talk to. There was a lot of homework, but attempting it all is really what counts.
great professor. he's easy going and his lectures are easy to follow. I went to almost every lecture, and when i didn't go, i felt behind. hw is tough in the beginning but gets easier w practice. class is difficult at first but i loved it towards the end. i should've ended w an A- but he gave me an A, which i'm grateful
Another quarter, another set of classes with Chada. First quarter design is always a punch to the gut, but I did appreciate the lectures given and honestly Chada is a great professor for anything that needs to be taught and applied.
This was the only class where I went to every lecture. The homework can be rough in the beginning but if you read the textbook and keep up a A is definitely manageable. He also rounds grades because I calculated based on my percentage I would have had a A-, but he gave me an A. This was my favorite class as a freshman q1, and it was easy enough.
