CollegeThere were weekly zoom meetings (one day a week). All assignment except the final were group projects but fairly easy. Professor creates an engaging class despite the fact it's online. I would recommend her class!
I was nervous to take Elena's class after reading reviews. Personally, I had a great experience. The weekly group projects are simple, as long as you have a good group. She is very accommodating and kind. She genuinely wants her students to succeed.
She was OK. Lectures were kinda boring, so the class felt SUPER long, but she was kind of funny. Weekly group projects and meetings which I personally did not like. TA was a harsh grader despite neither of them being accessible whatsoever or clear. Reached out a couple times and was never gotten back to. Would never take her again.
She is Honestly very rude I'm currently taking her for Sociology of Education and she ignored my hand while it was up despite no one else raising their hand and she threw a candy at my group member because she asked one of us to talk in front of the class and none of us wanted to do it ( I didn't want to because she blatantly ignored me ).
Easy work, but group work is a big part of your overall grade. Take her!
Fairly easy class as long as you have good group coordination for the podcasts and discussion leader meetings. The final paper wasn't too bad either since it is basically a reflection of the course material and you are able to reuse what you said during the weekly discussion posts. Overall, no complaints and would do again.
