CollegeShe has an in-class response for every lecture, with unclear questions. There are three papers: one short and two long, plus two easy quizzes. Grading follows a points system out of 100 leaving little room for error. If you want an easy GE, consider other options. Professor McDonald knows people expect an easy A but this class is more challenging.
Professor McDonald is very passionate and the TAs were helpful! 3 papers, 2 quizzes, weekly readings, and section/lecture attendance make up your grade. The final is a paper based on the weekly readings and lectures so you are pretty prepared for it. Would definitely recommend as a GE!
probably one of my most work intensive GE's, three papers and two quizzes, tbh the quizzes arent a huge issue its just the final paper which requires 16 sources of evidece and its like doing too much. also so much weekly readigs, you have to read 2 books along w hella sources. honestly not an easy GE you have to put in the WORK to get a good score.
I LOVE PROFESSOR MCDONALD. She is actually wonderful and super passionate about her work and about her students too. Her lectures are pretty dense but she keeps it interesting. Make sure to go to basically all of them because theres 1 point quizzes at the end. Only 3 papers and 2 easy quizzes. def 10/10 ge would take again she's awesome
She is so passionate about her work. Super accessible outside of class. Lectures are mandatory because there are quizzes at the end of each one, but she's super cool and helpful so I didn't have to force myself to go once, it was always a pleasure. Quizzes + essays for the class - no in-person exams.
Awesome professor! Cares for her students academically and for their overall well-being. Easy grader and gives good feedback on your assignments that build up to your final project.
