For graduate students who already completed introductory courses. Covers techniques of scale analysis for simplifying governing equations, and for deriving tractable models of practical utility. Examples range from single-phase flows, progressing through fluid-structure interaction, multiphase flow, effects of surfactants, phase change, and simple chemical reactions.
