CollegeShe tends to teach very passionately which is amazing yet the questions are formulated off of her own knowledge and seem almost like trick questions 90% of the time, if you're one to psyche yourself out on questions in class, any of her classes are not for you. Barely any assignments so one or two bad grades can really run you your quarter
This was a horrible class. She's not a very nice person in the class, but she's pretty nice outside randomly. Maybe art history people like her...
Her lectures were hard to hear and understand, the material itself wasn't hard she just sucked at teaching it. She also took most of the quarter to announce the midterm date and switched the schedule a lot and was not very accommodating to schedule conflicts/needing to miss class or a test. I still passed so…
Prof. Khoury is very knowledgeable in her field but struggles with making it interesting for the students and lectures are hard to sit through. Attendance is required but sorta inefficient with a sign in sheet that got passed around. Grade made up from two papers (graded hardly) and midterm/final that weren't too bad but lots of information.
I had struggles with her a lot this quarter, and the night PRIOR to the midterm, she sends out a revised email telling us we had to study the lectures from the day prior. She wasn't consistent, never was right with the slides, not good at electronics, readings are broad, and expects you to write bibliographic information (yes, WRITE).
I mean its boring. She is very knowledgable but it is all just a snoozefest. Not technlogcially literate, does in person, inneffective attendence. Not clear at all what is on the quizes, how theyre formated, when they are. Can barley work Canvas and this just makes it hard to operate.
