CollegeLoved him! Favorite prof at UCSB. Very sweet and cares about students, responds to emails very fast. Makes lectures interesting while also putting lots of info on the slides. Very passionate about what he teaches, which made me happy to learn. Quizzes, midterm, & final were all online and open note, were pretty easy. RGST20 is a fun and easy GE.
Professor Mundra is very passionate and knowledgeable about the course and it's clear he wants students to succeed. You must pay attention in lectures and do the sometimes confusing readings. He's very accessible and makes content easy to understand. The midterm, final, and weekly quizzes are taken online and are easy if you pay attention in class.
Lec attendence-10%, Section attendence-20%, Quizzes-40%,Midterm&Final-15% each. Super interesting class and lecturer, 2 interesting readings per week, 1 quiz per week. Grading is based on general understanding, not mastery or memorization. Favorite GE I've taken so far. HIGHLY recommend.
Lectures are MANDATORY!! Professor is very knowledgable and explains the topic very well. There are weekly quizzes but are only 2 short answer questions, and are graded very leniently. Great GE. Not a lot of reading involved.
Professor Mundra was very passionate about this subject and made it a better experience for me. There are weekly quizzes on the readings and lecture, but they are super easy and he lets you use your notes. Overall, a very good teacher and is very fair with grading.
Great lecturer, attendance is taken, weekly (super easy open book) quizzes, midterm and final both online and open note. Super fun class learned a lot. Would recommend Prof. Mundra. Very accommodating and cares about his students as well!
