Took a midterm that was never graded. Professor unaccessible outside of class. Entire grade based off of one essay, super vague prompt. Readings boring and long and often. Went to TA's office hours and followed advice to a tee, still received a B+.

The lectures are kind of boring and repetitive but Prof. Delombard does encourage participation and is more than happy to discuss things outside of class. Prof. Delombard wanted to try a new type of grading criteria (pretty good one) and had said that in a kinda condescending way. The lectures are not like that, but it left a lasting impression.

Personally, I thought Professor DeLombard was a pleasure to learn from. Think many people are being unfair to her and the quality of the work she presents. Of course, if you're just gonna be on your phone and scroll for the entire period, you're not gonna learn jack all. However, it is lecture and reading heavy, so if that isn't your thing....

Interesting class. Can get boring but do the readings and attend lecture and you will get an A!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. The professor was extremely condescending and does not care about her students. Lectures were boring and Delombard was unaccessible. TA's really affected grade. Entire grade depends on final essay and even after office hours with my TA, I was given an 86. Entire class was a waste of my time. Lectures don't help. Good luck.
