Expects you to know things that he never goes over in lecture. The lecture slides either have too much text or none and I never know what to take notes on. Grades you literally based on how he feels that day, and often gives a C when you've given full effort. Kept creating new submission modules for the final essay & I nearly missed the last one.

The MOST disorganized class I've ever taken with no visible grading criteria for assignments. Insanely tough grader for no reason. He cannot use canvas for the life of him, and will create assignments and not tell anyone. Sends out emails at 10 pm on Sun w vital info when class is at 9am Mon. SO unclear about requirements for midterm & final essay.

While clearly obsessed and knowledgeable on the subject matter, he expects you to read his mind on how to complete his assignments. He wants everything done on canvas but doesn't know how to use it. Very rude about students having anxiety or being visibly neurodivergent. Truly felt he could not be pleased regardless of how hard I tried.

Attendance was mandatory. There were no opportunities to participate so lectures were dull. Grading criteria was unclear. The course was very scattershot, and there was no overarching theme to it, which made it hard to stay engaged. However I passed easily despite never having taken an art history class before.

Gives very unclear instructions. Makes hypothetical questions that are unclear. Never sure what to take notes on in class. moves through slides very quick.

Prof. Ogbechie doesn't help you prepare for the midterm or final, you're basically on your own and this class depends on your TA. He has an accent which makes it hard to understand him, on top of that, he has a deep voice and starts to get quiet and mumble when he says longer sentences. He also lacks the mutual respect that students give him.
