CollegeShe was great, tests were rough tho. She gives practice exams that are mostly mc just for the tests to be free response. Everything could and will be on the test so study everything. There are a lot of topics in this class, so make flashcards or something to try and keep up with all the vocab and concepts.
very nice professor for the last half of the quarter. makes things very clear and tells you straight up what she will be testing on. explains things pretty well and connects it to relevant topics. brings snacks to encourage participation and is very enthusiastic about this topic and her field of study :-)
Dr. Marsh is a great professor and I took her for EEMB 120 and EEMB 138 in the spring of 2025. She is very kind and cares a lot about the success of her students. As long as you go to class, it is easy to get an A in her courses, since she makes it very clear what to expect on exams. She doesn't record lectures unfortunately
I took it during fall 2024, I liked the professor, lots of the material was already covered in eemb2/3. Exams were open response in person, not too bad, just read her notes, and do the practice exams (super similar), lecture not recorded. professor was nice and gave snacks when people participated in class. She was sweet and passionate about topic.
Test is all free response which seems daunting but is not too bad. GO TO LECTURE, just reading the slides isn't enough and she doesn't record. You have to put in the time to memorize, but not a hard class. Sometimes, hints at what will be on the exam during class, so make sure to pay attention. Section mandatory and the presentation is not bad
HIGHLY RECOMMEND EEMB 120! Her lectures are super easy to follow and if you go to class she'll give hints on what will be on the midterm. Midterms and final are mostly free response, but she offers extra credit at the end of every test so it's possible to score over 100. The professor also gave out snacks during lecture making class more enjoyable.
