CollegeProfessor A-O does a great job at teaching CHEM 3C as he provides further context on most topics as to why we are learning it and how it's used industrially to manufacture goods. Homework was optional but great prep for exams, study guides were also given, and exams are reasonably easy. Also he's pretty funny for teaching an 8am class.
he explains concepts very clearly, and while the class is hard, it's doable
He really and truly is the goat of the ucsb gen chem series. Notoriously tough course, but Price's lectures are so well constructed for easy comprehension and if you use the study resources he gives, there is really no reason why you shouldn't be able to pass. You don't even need to use them all, he's got something for everyone.
Best instructor at UCSB. Price is understanding, knowledgable, and a great teacher. He goes fast in lecture, so always go over the material outside of class. Three exams and ALEKS chapters due every week. Plenty resources and practice exams on Canvas. Very straightforward in expectations for the course. It was an honor to take Price, he's amazing!
I was able to learn chemistry thoroughly taking Price, hes so smart and nice, daddy of chemistry ❤️
Didn't do well in this class, but I don't blame him at all. I enjoyed how aleks was due at the end of each chapter, instead of every Sunday like other professors. Midterms were fair, but the final was insanely hard. Went to his office hours they were helpful, I wish I took advantage of them more.
