Covers diverse methods and theoretical approaches of historiography of performance and performance as historiography. Readings trouble ideas of history production and understandings of the past. We explore past assumptions about subject, time, and place central to traditional historiographical methods and identify new approaches and directions. And, we consider how theoretical and methodological approaches under the umbrella of ?historiography? adjust to reflect changes in understandings of people, places, and systems of knowledge.
