Professor Vagt is very elegant and caring. She gives inspiring lectures and you will learn a lot from her. TA s are also very nice and caring. An easy A if you go to the lecture and do the readings. Overall an amazing learning experience.

She's very passionate about the subject and expects you do the readings, but she doesn't make your life too difficult. Go to her office hours! I learned so much from her during those talks and she offers genuine help. If you do the readings and write well it should be an easy A.

Chill class. The readings were a little confusing, but showing up to lecture clarifies anything you might be stuck on. Midterm, Final, and a 1800 word paper due dead week. Overall very doable as long as you have an idea of the readings/authors.

Going to lecture is so helpful especially because the reading material is really hard to comprehend on your own. Professor Vagt tries hard to make sure you understand the content and is good at making sure of it. I admired how she viewed these philosophies and was able to make me rethink what I thought I knew about the world and our interactions.

Vagt is a great professor, super nice lady. You can pretty much wikipedia most of the readings if you can't understand them or just dont have time for a 10 page reading. Also if u miss class there are slides. AS long as you do the readings and pay attention to some details you will pass the class. A grade totally possible just put in effort.

Midterm and final are doable but I had a good TA who really helped us prepare. I think this wasn't the case with all sections. Lecture is really important as readings are complicated philosophy that doesn't make a lot of sense without her explanations but she is good at explaining. There was an EC assignment and a pretty long paper too.
