Way to much reading and a harsh grader. The topics are very interesting and Laury is very sweet but i wish i didn't take the class. I spent so much time doing the hw and the grade doesn't reflect it at all.

Most of her lectures were interesting. Grades based on participation, midterm paper, research paper, and final paper but graded kind of hard.

lecture notes are not organized, very hard to pay attention in class. If you are not a womens studies major and looking for an elective, this class isn't the best choice.
