This class is very fair - the content of the lectures and practice exams will definitely prepare you for the tests. I even found the homeworks a little more difficult than the tests were. He doesn't pull any tricks and he's helpful during office hours. He also gives you an index card for the midterms and final.
Love Porter, TAKE HIM. Impossible to fail the class as long as you do all the homework and show up to the discussion section. He's a very kind professor and cares for his students. I'm not good at math but also had him for 34 A, and did well.
He literally was "sick" for half the lectures and was so chill. He literally canceled the final and is a D1 chiller. You will get a decent grade in this class and I know he tells his TA's to grade easy so if you get a bad grade, talk to your TA.
Love this man he is my icon. He doesn't wanna be there as much as you. His tests are legit like 6-7 questions. You can bring a notecard too. He's so easy take him if you can.
The lectures are great and the final is similar to the practice sample.
