Lectures are engaging and he demonstrates concepts very well. His explanations of my questions during class and office hours were very helpful for my understanding. Grading was 10% HW, 40% for 2 midterms, and 50% final. He's very passionate about making sure we understand the content and strikes a great balance between difficulty and testing us.

Professor Buckwalter is brilliant and I really liked his way of teaching the 10C material. He also doesn't make you feel like you know nothing when you ask questions which is very rare for a professor. As long as you can do the homework's and practice exam problems, you're golden.

Hes a really cool guy and I think he would be great as an upper division professor, but I think he is too smart to be teaching this basic class. His lectures are pretty basic, but his homework is incredibly difficult. Quizzes are tough and a big part of the grade. Labs are absolute nonsense but easy to get full points. A lot of self learning.

The class can be hard but it you put in the effort you will learn a lot. Buckwalter is great at explaining concepts in lecutre and will spend time answering everyone's questions. Tests and quizzes can be difficult but he is generous with the curves.

He has an awesome personality and easy going. He respects your questions even if they are easy. You do not feel any pressure working with him. The lecture level is quite easy. Maybe, it will be better if he can discuss more stuff in greater details.
