    • Introduction to Computer Programming in the Arts . ART 22

    Using a project-based approach, the basic components of web development and computer programming are explored in different markup and programming languages such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Processing. The class is intended to create a general understanding of computer programming, its use and cultural implications, as well as provide a foundation for utilizing programming in a wide range of projects, from traditional to new media.

    Lisa is an amazing professor who is so passionate about art and Santa Cruz Island! The whole class was such a once in a lifetime experience, it was very worth it. Projects are creative and up to the artist.

    Get ready to code, Lisa is a nice professor, but doesn't give much direction. Many projects are free for alls, there is about one a week. I wish they taught how to code but they let you figure it out on your own, html style.
